UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SURABAYA - AKUNTANSI

The Faculty of Economics is one of the faculties at Unesa which is located at Unesa Ketintang. The Unesa Faculty of Economics was founded in 2006. Initially, since 1964 this faculty was incorporated into the Social Sciences Teacher Training Faculty (FKIS) which was later named IKIP or Surabaya Teacher Education Institute. However, in 1977 through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No.042/O/1977 the name of FKIS was changed to FPIPS (Faculty of Social Science Education). Based on Presidential Decree No. 93/1999, IKIP Surabaya was changed to State University of Surabaya and the name of FPIPS was changed to Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS). In 2006, through a letter issued by the Director General of Higher Education Number 761/D/T/2006 regarding the Opening of the Faculty of Economics at Unesa dated February 16, 2006 and the Decree of the Chancellor of Unesa No.050/J37/HK .01.23/PP.03.02/2006 concerning Separation Department of Economics Education and its Study Program from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the opening of the Faculty of Economics on March 16, 2006, the Faculty of Economics was separated from the Faculty of Economics of Social Sciences. Until now, the Faculty of Economics has 9 Study Programs, including S1. Economics Education, S1. Accounting Education, S1. Business Administration, S1. Office Administration, S1 Management, D3 Accounting, S1 Accounting, S1 Economics and S1 Islamic Economics.

In 2009 developed the D-3 Accounting study program to become the Accounting Department which consists of the D-3 Accounting study program and the S-1 Accounting study program. For the D3 Accounting study program with the SK number for the establishment of the study program 942/DT/2003 dated May 7, 2003 dated January 14, 2008 and the last accreditation rating is B with the number SK BAN-PT 028/BAN-PT/Ak-X/Dpl-III/I/ 2011. As for the Bachelor of Accounting study program number, the study program establishment decree number is 2077/DT/2008 dated 7 July 2008 and the operational permit SK number is 942/D/T/2008 dated 14 January 2008. The accreditation rating for S1-Accounting is B with the SK BAN-PT number 242/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-XVI/S/XII/2013. The rating was later changed with the issuance of SK BAN-PT 3690/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2017, dated October 10, 2017, which shows an A accreditation rating.
